Winter Cicada
It is the Bakumatsu era, a period of great unrest. When a retainer of the Tokugawa Shogunate, Akizuki Kouichirou and a warrior of the Choushuu fief, Kusaka Touma cross paths, they fall passionately for each other. However, fate is cruel to them and they are forced to part when Tokugawa and Choushuu turn rivals. This rivalry soon paves a way to war. “If only we weren’t born in this era, we could have stayed together for so much longer…”. They hoped “Someday, time will allow us to be together” but time is ultimately heartless and that was not to be. Breaking past the tempestuous Bakumatsu restoration, the passion of Akizuki and Kusaka!
